Hey,
I found no other way of contacting you, so I´ll try via this forum. Will this guide be expanded with the Keying, Rep and Achivements from the wotlk-expansion when released?
Reason for question is that I want to know that if I purchase it now, I dont have to buy another guide when wotlk is released.
Thanks, Divinea

I believe so, because they grant free updates to all their guides, so when wotlk heads out they're probably going to make a major free update for it. Have fun, Sky

Divinea,
Sorry I have not replied sooner, but I am unable to make final pricing and product decisions on my own. So while I am an administrator I am not the final decision maker. I have been out of contact with him for the past few days, and as soon as I get an answer for you then I would be happy to put it on here for you.
I promise I am not ignoring this post, and as soon as I have information to pass I will.
Thanks,
Cynicide

Whether or not we end up charging more money for the WotLK updates completely depends on the amount of time and money have to devote to getting the content up to date.
We just recently got our first beta invite and have started working on becoming familiar with the new content so that we can document it. Our guide authors, Cynicide included, are employees of Spugnort's World - which translates into it costing money for us to research and develop the new content.
While we would like to offer the updates free of charge, it remains to be seen if I can afford to do so. At the very least, there will be special pricing for customers that have purchased the previous versions of the guides.
Keep in mind that with the ever increasing amount of experience and therefor quests/kills needed to gain levels in MMOs, the WotLK updates could very likely rival the size of the entire previous version of the guides. It would not surprise me in the least if we end up doubling the size and content of our guides in order to document the addition of Northrend, the new character class (Death Knights), and the addition of the new instances, PvP mechanics, etc.
More information will be posted as soon as I can offer a definitive answer to the issue of pricing. To keep up to date on the latest changes to our products and what we are up to, I would suggest subscribing to our newsletter or reading over our blog (http://blog.spugnort.com).

Spugnort, I do not understand this at all. When I purchased your leveling guide, it offered: 1. Free updates for life(Well It used to. Now I see it says for one year). 2. "Fequent guide updates are made to stay current with any changes, optimizations, or patch modifications". (I know Frequent is spelled wrong, but that's how it is written on the website) As far as I can tell, your (leveling) guide has not been updated since May 2007!. I have been a subscriber for almost a year now and I have not seen even one update. I hardly call this frequent. --Shooben I just realized I posted in a post about keying and Reputaion. I will repost this in a better place.
